A game played online in the internet.
The Matrix online is a MMORPG (= Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) which picks up the story where Revolutions left off.
You have the choice, be a Zionist ,Machinist or Merovingian. In this age there is no Human vs Machine war, its a fight to free the human race or to take over the Matrix.
Featuring a unique combat system which you select the moves onto a que list and then the fight is acted out seemlessly as if it were from the film.
A large mission database watched over the game to make sure there are always missions to do, with all NPCs (= Non-Player Characters) remembering who you are.
As your Residual self image you choose what you look like from a ginormous wardrobe of clothes.
When asked if Monolith could make a character look bad, they couldn't find any outfits that made the player look un-cool.
The Matrix Online is set in the Mega city from the films, every room of every floor of every building in every street... is real and enterable.
You will be expected to pay a monthly bill using credit card or using game cards which can be bought at most game retailers.
